Winter Internships Program 2010 with Uday Foundation

The Uday Foundation ( Non Profit for Kids) invites young and motivated interns for Winter Internship Program 2010. The Key Result Area of Winter Internship Program 2010 is to work with the children afflicted with congenital defects, critical disorders, syndromes, and diseases that affect their health condition, education & growth.

The focus of your Winter Internship program / development project is determined by your skills, your interests, and the needs of the local environmental community. Experiential learning combines with weekly adventures, and productive volunteer work to form a comprehensive and unforgettable internship experience.

Program Duration : 4 to 6 Weeks.

The Winter Internship Program Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the Winter Internship Program.

Preference shall be given to the following :

  • Students of social and behavioral sciences, economics, communication studies and public health.
  • Students pursuing 5 years integrated law course.
  • Students pursuing 3 years L.L.B. course.
  • Students pursuing post-graduation in human rights, sociology and other related social science.
  • Students pursuing masters in social work
  • Post- Graduation diploma in human rights
  • Students perusing graduation with specialized subjects
  • MBA and other post graduate degree / diploma course

Internship Program Details:

The selected Interns would get the opportunity to work in different areas of issues related to Children, Health and Human Rights, including participation in the review of Programmes of the ongoing projects in the Uday Foundation.

Interns will also get an opportunity to have interaction with legal luminaries, Senior Doctors, Social Workers, Senior Journalists of Various News Channels and New Papers as well as other reputed NGOs situated in Delhi. They will be required to study and scrutinize key result area of the Uday Foundation work, present findings to the NGO, compile and analyze statistical data on children and health related issues etc.

Interns will be required to prepare their reports on the topic of study assigned to them during the internship. Interns will also represent NGO in various programs and debates conducted by other organizations and news channels, apart from field visits and project work during internship.

The selected Interns will have to make their own arrangements regarding accommodation and transport at Delhi.
