Internship Details:
As a Website Creator Intern, you will play a crucial role in elevating our online impact. Working closely with our communications team, you’ll contribute to developing and maintaining our website to effectively engage our audience and supporters. This internship is a fantastic opportunity for you to apply your technical expertise and contribute to causes that align with your values.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our communications team to understand our organizational objectives and target audience.
Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive website pages.
Implement web solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
Ensure website content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with our identity.
Assist in integrating multimedia elements, such as images and videos, to enhance website content.
Work with the team to implement web accessibility standards to make our website inclusive for all users.
Requirements:
Familiarity with responsive design principles for seamless experiences across devices.
A creative eye for design and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in website creation, either through personal projects or academic coursework.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Joomla.
Understanding of SEO principles to optimize website visibility.
Duration:
This internship is a 4-5 hour per week commitment for one month, with flexible start and end dates to accommodate your academic schedule.
