Internship- Sustainability Solutions

Positions reports to: ESG Practice Lead

The intern will be part of the Agvesto India Private Limited with the Sustainability practice team. This team is responsible for working with clients and developing Sustainability solutions and advisory services. Given the emerging nature of the field it will involve market scanning and analysis, research and application to Agvesto business model.

What you’ll be doing…

• To research developments on Climate and Nature Based Solutions, across India and other countries;
• To research emerging frameworks and standards in the areas of Sustainable Development and Finance;
• To compare and conduct a landscape analysis of decarbonisation & transition pathways globally and regionally based on sectors, geographies and best practices;
• To prepare presentation slides and concept notes based on the research work;
• Learn about and synthesise evolving ESG trends, reporting standards, and regulations;
• Collect environment, social, and governance-related information for the companies across sectors
• Qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to help the ESG team deliver on product and/or client requirements
• Ad hoc support for Agvesto team as required in achieving project/commercial deliverables;
• Attend meetings as required and support in note taking and owning action items
• Will be available for 2-3 days a week over 6 months;

Requirements

We would love to hear from you if you have…

• BSc or MSc in Environmental Science and similar fields;
• Good research skills;
• Proficient with MS office and related software packages;

• Familiarity with banking and finance is a plus;
• Enthusiasm and eager to learn new things in and around the Environment & Sustainability including energy;
• Good time management skills;
• Attention to detail and able to distil complex concepts/information;
• Self-motivated and flexible.
