Internship Overview: The key role is to approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business or for making repeat sales to the existing customers. The role also includes planning, advertising, public relations, organizing events and distribution, brand building, market research. The work is often challenging, varied and exciting.
Tasks of Function
• Analyzing the market, including competitors and consumers
• Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Developing a growing understanding of our products and keeping up with industry developments
• Attending and organizing sales promotional events and exhibitions
• Reporting on sales progress and attainment of goals
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
• Communication with cross-function support teams
• Feeding future buying trends back to employers
• Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
