Overview of internship: We are looking for BBA/MBA students seeking summer internships in the Research and Analysis space. The intern will be working on researching about the mid-market Indian IT/BPO sector companies through secondary and primary channels and based on the data, prepare high quality, comprehensive, incisive and neutral Analyst reports which can cater to the needs to our clients in our target countries, i.e. Australia, Canada, US and UK.
Company profile: Hexagon Analysts & Consulting Services Private Ltd (Hexagon Consulting) is a new company promoted recently to provide inter alia, IT & BPO consulting services and analyst reports to mid-market clients, the target market being Australia, Canada, UK and US – on the Indian ITES space.
The practice is run by subject matter experts in the IT & BPO Outsourcing industry (Engineers and MBAs from top business schools like XLRI, Jamshedpur, etc.) – with a successful track record & experience at senior levels (up to C – level management roles) in MNC companies in Indian and Global markets.
Details of internship:
1.Evaluate the various existing BPO and IT players operating in India, by researching compressive secondary data bases as well as by doing direct primary research (i.e. meeting marketing seniors of the existing IT and BPO players in India – with the express objective of evaluating and mapping their capabilities).
2. The research & evaluation done (i.e. # 1 above) will then be used to prepare incisive, neutral & objective comprehensive Analyst reports. The quality of the reports should be such that the same can be sent to a client in the target markets – Australia, Canada, UK and US.
3. Based on the research being done (#1 above) prepare a monthly India BPO & IT Update Paper – which Hexagon Consulting will send to existing & prospective clients in the target markets.
4. Other Miscellaneous activities that may be assigned during the course of the training, for building the Hexagon Consulting IT & BPO practices.
Desired profile:
Education: Students with a strong academic background and currently pursuing/completed their BBA/MBA (Any stream)
Experience: 0-1 Years (Freshers can also apply)
Duration of internship: 2 months (8 weeks)
