Company profile: Go!Places is on a mission to Bring History to Life. We make downloadable guides to Indian monuments
Details of internship: A project will involve researching a specific Indian monument, over a 3-week period. The applicant must utilize libraries and subject-specific websites to find 10,000 words of unique content – history, biography of important persons, architecture, anecdotes, iconography etc. Depending on performance a candidate may be given more such projects. In addition to stipend we also provide research credit and reference letters to candidates who meet or exceed performance expectations
Desired profile:
Education: MA/MPhil/PhD in History. May also consider other Arts profiles, subject to aptitude.
Experience: Not required. Need strong research orientation
Other: Demonstrable research interest in History, good communicator, self-motivated, able to work with minimal direct supervision, comfortable working remotely with a couple of meetings in a week, strong written English
Duration of internship: 3 weeks. May be offered more projects based on performance. We would ideally like high-performers to continue for 2-3 months, or longer in a part-time capacity
