Overview of internship: We are a online library based in Chennai. We are looking at innovative marketing minds that will help increase our readership and build and online community.
Day to Day tasks would include:
- Identifying target communities
- Developing market strategies
- Maintain online marketing presence
- Coming with offers and promotions
- Making compelling presentations and presenting to target audiences
- Bottom line – Increase Customer Base
Company profile: We are a startup online library based in Chennai. We have a good collection of books (25 years worth), and a website to get orders. We service the readers at their doorstep. We are currently a family operation, and would like to go to the next step. We are looking for fresh ideas and perspective to market our library.
Details of internship: You will start off with challenges. You will be provided initial ideas to start with. Going further, you are expected to provide marketing ideas and drive them. You will be given a free hand to run the marketing side of the business. We would be willing to consider go-getter candidates who perform well as part of our business in future. This would mean salaries and/or bonuses.
Desired profile: A marketing whiz with a flair for identifying trends, market segments, and also getting to the field and to convert the vision into sales. Knowledge of english fiction would be an added plus.
