Overview of internship: We are looking for confident, outgoing college students who are interested in marketing and sales profiles.The applicants must be willing to work very hard over the duration of the program and must be able to multitask.
Company profile : In 2010, the co-founders of Tutoring “D” Street (“TDS”) realized that there is a dearth of training and direction for business students in India
TDS was started to bridge the gap between theory and “Real-World” practicality
At the helm of TDS are former Wall Street Investment Bankers with thousands of hours of training and practical experience at Bulge Bracket Wall Street firms like Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Macquarie Securities
The problem solved by TDS: Professionals with real-world experience are often too busy with clients and deals to focus on teaching subordinates. Professors, on the other hand, excel at teaching but may not be well versed in the practical techniques required to get things done. TDS bridges this gap between the “Classroom” and the “Real-World”
TDS offers a mix of hands-on instruction, practical illustrations, group projects, computer exercises, visual presentations, and mini-lectures
TDS targets young students and professionals aspiring to work in investment banking, consulting, research, asset management, private equity, brokerage, sales & trading, marketing and insurance
Details of internship: Job role would primarily include
1)Marketing research and benchmarking analysis
2)designing and executing college promotion campaigns
3)Generating sales and long term corporate contracts for TDS.
4)social media marketing campaigns
Education : Applications from First year and second year college students is invited
Experience : None required. But must have the zeal to learn.
Duration of internship : 2 months (Sept-Oct 2011)
