Internships 2012 with The Climate Group at New Delhi

The Climate Group is an independent, not-for-profit organization working internationally with government and business leaders to advance the smart policies, technologies and finance needed to cut global emissions and unlock a clean industrial revolution. Our global coalition of companies, states, regions and cities around the world recognizes the economic and environmental imperatives of taking decisive action now. The Climate Group was founded in 2004 and has operations in Australia, China, Europe, India and North America.

The role

Our New Delhi office has an ongoing need for motivated and enthusiastic interns. We provide a stimulating working environment and opportunities to gain practical experience on a range of climate and low-carbon issues.

Currently, we need interns who can engage in primary research, mainly in two thematic areas of low carbon technologies:
• Electric Vehicles
• LED Lighting

In addition, interns may be required to undertake separate research work on climate change mitigation initiatives of India’s leading businesses.

Our intern placements are normally for a three month period, with preference given to individuals who are able to commit to at least three full days per week. The positions are unpaid, but a daily stipend, to cover appropriate travel within Delhi/NCR and lunch costs, is provided.
