About Company: OpenSource Vidya is a unique educational venture started by a group of enthusiastic IIT Kanpur graduates committed to bringing much desired innovation in the present teaching sector. As an educational setup, we are involved into entrance examinations coaching, teacher training and educational content development projects, with the sole focus on improving learning by implementing and developing the latest in pedagogy and technology.
About Internship: This is a very intensive internship program with immense opportunities to learn and contribute. Candidate will be primarily involved in teaching mathematics to engineering aspirants, and developing related educational content. The candidate will also gain a hands on experience of using and developing multimedia learning tools. Depending on one’s dedication, he/she will also be entrusted with organizational responsibilities at a later stage.
Who can apply: A M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D student in any year/pass-out from IITs/NITs/Top Universities/Colleges with a strong grasp of entrance level mathematics, and should have a desire to work hard and learn.
Location: Asansol, West Bengal
Duration: The duration for the internship will be flexible, subject to a minimum of 12 weeks.
Start Date: April/ May-2012, depending on your availability
Incentives: Rs.20,000/month + Accommodation + Travel + Performance based incentives (variable) and if you do well in the internship there would be an opportunity to be a permanent employee with excellent salary and leadership options.
