Overview of internship: • The project is aimed at creating a BI platform for KGFS entities
• The BI platform aims to feed in the enormous amounts of data of KGFS customers and present their details to various stakeholders in the form of reports, automated e-mails, sms alerts, etc.
• With seamless integration with the existing databases of KGFS, the system would provide real time and most immediate information on the dot.
• Some salient features of the BI platform:
o Automated ETL of different databases used by different systems
o Login based access to each level of KGFS
o Ability to answer queries across various parameters. For eg. Transaction frequency of customers in a particular village, Loan Outstanding (<5K, 5-10K, 10-15, etc.) village-wise, etc
o Ability to drill down to the customer / transaction level using
o Being developed with the help of open source tools the power of the platform will be available to all levels at KGFS from the Wealth Manager to the CEO. Access to some features would also be made available on the public website of IFMR Rural Finance

Desired profile:
Education : B Tech/M.Tech
Experience : The ideal candidate would be someone with a background in coding / programming on PHP / Javascript / HTML and MySQL.
Other : Undergraduate / Graduate students looking for an opportunity to use their programming skills would be a good fit
