Total Requirement: 4-6 candidates, depending on whether we find the right fit or not
Remuneration: A CTC of 3-6 lacs per annum, depending on place of posting, experience and performance in the apprenticeship period. eSOPs will be provided at the end of 1.5 years, based on accomplishment of targets.
Location: Tier I cities like Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Tier II cities like Jaipur, Coimbatore, Bhopal, etc. Locations will be decided at the start of October depending on the performance in the apprenticeship period and company growth plans. Personal preference will be taken into consideration.
AnB Education (based at Gurgaon), is a firm founded by a group of IITians and educationists. As a first product, the firm is designing a diagnostic (assessment) tool for children in Middle School, called R Square.
Following would be the key roles and responsibilities of the hires:
Pitch R Square and other products of AnB Education in existing markets.
Open up new markets (like east and south India) and sales channels (retail sales, B2B market, etc.)
Gather data and intelligence to support marketing activities.
Promote the firm in various marketing/brand building events hosted across the country.
Ensure customer satisfaction in their home territories.
The candidate must have:
Willingness to travel across the country for business development.
Polished/ Fluent in communication; English is must and knowledge of regional languages will be an added advantage.
Time and Team Management skills.
Presentation skills and working knowledge of MS Office applications and Internet.
In addition, the candidate would be preferred if he/she has:
Proven track record of successful sales of various educational products. Candidates with experience in industries like Insurance, Media, Chemicals, Retail are also welcome to apply.
Experience: Experience of B2B selling for atleast 2-4 years.
Phase 1: Post resume submission, we will release a shortlist of qualified candidates. These will have to go through an aptitude test, and a round of personal interview.

Phase 2: Once selected, the candidates would be requested to join a rigorous 14 week apprenticeship program (starting from 9th of July, 2012 to the 30th of September, 2012). Location of the apprenticeship will be Bhopal, with occasional travel to Gurgaon and other branch offices. Candidates will be offered a stipend of Rs. 8000 per month during this period to cover their operation and living expenses. They will work under a leading business development manager who currently works as an advisor to AnB Education and is a part of the board.
Phase 3: Post apprenticeship interviews will be conducted based on the readiness of the candidates (which may happen anytime between 8-14 weeks depending on performance), based on which details of the final offer will be ironed out.
